CC-005 Dark Brown Copper Composite Panels (Aged surface)

Copper composite panel is a sandwich panel composed of two layers of copper skin (or one side copper, one side aluminum) bonded to a mineral filled fire retardant core. It's mainly used for façade cladding, interior wall decoration. Our copper coils are from 3 sources: local Chinese copper coil, Aurubis copper, KME Copper.


CC-004 Dark Brown Brush Copper Composite Panel is an aged color of copper (grade T2). If you prefer to get the oxidization (aged) look in advance, we can help you to manage it in our mill. But using chemical to do the pre-weathering process, we achieve an aging look on the copper surface in advance which generally need to wait 5 to 6 years by natural oxidization process. A clear coat is applied onto the surface to keep color stable for another 3 to 5 years, but due to copper is active, so gradually as the clear coat fade away, the oxidization process will continue like all natural copper.

Features of Copper composite panels comparing to conventional solid copper panel (4mm copper composite equal to 3mm solid copper sheet in rigidity):

1. Lighter in weight. 4mm composite is 10kgs/sq.m while 3mm solid sheet is 26kgs/sq.m

2. Lower in cost. 4mm composite only uses 0.3mm copper on 2 sides comparing to solid sheet is 3mm copper, it save cost at least 50%

3. Easy to fabricate and install. 4mm composite can be installed like aluminum composite which is easy and simple

4. More flat panel surface. Because of composite structure the 4mm composite is very flat, while solid sheet is soft which looks wavy after installation.

Colors: besides natural copper and brass we also offer pre-patina copper and some pre-treated copper finishing.
